From the morning breeze outside your door to winter in an unfamiliar city. From your first journey alone to a reunion with an old friend years later. Worn close to the skin, it becomes part of everyday life, gathering memories along the way.

DOMOG comes from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Our name means “legend” in Mongolian.

For us, that name holds something of the spirit of the steppe. Stories pass between people, and warmth lives on through small acts of care: adjusting a loved one’s collar before they leave, or offering another layer when the weather turns cold. These are moments worth remembering.

The landscapes of Inner Mongolia and the nomadic heritage of its Mongolian communities inspire our work.

We are drawn to the changing seasons and the relationships between people, the land and the journeys they make. The belongings carried and used throughout a nomadic life invite us to consider what makes an object worth keeping: its usefulness, the care it receives and the stories it gathers over time.

Cashmere is our way of expressing this connection.

A scarf is an intimate companion. It rests on the shoulders, wraps around the neck, folds into a travel bag or passes into another person’s hands as a gift. Through it, warmth becomes something we can carry and share.

At DOMOG, we seek to bring our sense of the steppe into cashmere pieces for contemporary life. Through colour, texture and considered details, we explore how our cultural inspirations can find a place in everyday wardrobes, accompanying both familiar routines and journeys further afield.

We approach Mongolian history and storytelling with respect and curiosity. Every cultural reference we use should have a story we can tell with care.
